Never install on high rise bars or on cruiser style motorcycles with tubular handlebars.
Never install on bent or loose bars or grips.
Before installing, make sure motorcycle is shut off, and the key is removed. Never start the engine with the tiedown clamps installed. Never leave installed for an extended period of time.
Loose hand grips can result in damage and failure. Never install on ice covered, or snow covered grips. Never install on rain soaked grips.
Tiedowns should never be angled in anyway that would cause the BTC to be pulled away from the motorcycle grips
